Special Agent Spinelli was laid to rest in a smaller Western PA cemetery in very close proximity to my grandfather's grave. My dad was a police officer in the town and when we would go to visit my grandfather's final resting place, my dad would always point out SA Spinelli's grave as well, and spoke of his sacrifice on our behalf.

I'm now separated from those moments by over 40 years and thousands of miles, but I still recall the impression of those moments my dad had us reflect on the patriotism and self-sacrifice of Mr. Spinelli.
