The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is a family. This family extends back to all the previous iterations of FWC, such as the Florida Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission. Today we in FWC Class 39 honored Officer Bud Smith with a memorial workout. His sacrifice in the line of duty was a tragic loss to our law enforcement family. We continue to honor him and all other members of our family who have fallen. While he is gone, his memory and sacrifice will live on through our agency.

Respectfully,

FWC Recruit Class 39
