Bruce and I were friends since first grade at Powers. We did judo together in 5th grade. We camped and waterskied many times. In gym he was so strong he could climb the ropes with just his hands! He moved to Indiana in high school. I ran into him at Michigan State. After all these years I reflect on Bruce’s life, and am saddened. He was a genuinely kind and humble man.
