Jeffrey Glenn Rugheimer

Patrolman Jeffrey Rugheimer was struck and killed by a road paving machine while directing traffic on Highway 90 about 100 yards from the Litton Overpass.

Patrolman Rugheimer had served with the Pascagoula Police Department for six months. He was survived by his parents and four siblings.

On today, the 50th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just for your Community but for our Country as well when you served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
