View all 10 ReflectionsHi, Charles. You were my great grandfather and your son, Tom, told me your story. Tom was my grandfather and I thought you might like to know that he grew up to be a good man. He married Irene who died this year, 2022. She was my last living grandparent. Since she died, I’ve been thinking about all of you. All of my ancestors and the lives you led and the journeys you traveled that led to my existence and everyone else in the family. I don’t take this life for granted. I’m doing everything I can to make the world a little bit better, just like you set out to do.
