Dewey Rickles

Deputy Rickles was shot and killed as he responded to a domestic disturbance call at a residence near Morris, Alabama. As he entered the home he was shot three times when a man opened fire with a rifle. Minutes later a fellow officer shot and killed the suspect.

Deputy Rickles was survived by his wife and daughter.

My greatest respects for your service. Have always admired you and always will. Being the son of lester ray rickles grandson of Roy rickels of Kimberly al. Dad was in the air force for a long time I never grew up in al. But the name Dewey rickles has always be there for me. Thanks for watching out for me from heaven. I know u are there.
