Even all these years later, Danny is still on my mind. We worked patrol together at Hollenbeck. I went to the Academy and sometime later he went to 77th.

I was older than Danny and he often asked me for advice, or just wanted to talk. The last time, at the Academy Fountain, shortly before his murder.

He was a good cop. I miss him.
