I was working as a detective with the Duncanville P.D. on the night that Sgt. Michael Poe and Ofc. Roger Hobden were killed. I remember it as if it was yesterday; I had trained Hobden for two weeks prior to that day. I attempted both funerals and it made a permanent impression on my life. Sgt. Poe was an outstanding Officer and true friend!
