When he asked the man what his business was the man pulled out a concealed handgun and shot Officer Phillips once in the chest. While your assailant may have never been caught, he/she surely faced an unescapable court and justice by a much higher authority at a later time and in a different place. Thank you for your service and please know that no passage of time will ever erase you sacrifice. Rest in peace always.
