Carl Peterson was a friend of my parents. When he came to dinner he always cleaned everything up afterwards, making everything sparkle. I remember him so well, scrubbing long blackened pots until they gleamed. He was an all around good guy, quiet mannered and kind. I was a teenager and didn't like my parents or their friends, but I 100% admired and respected Officer Peterson. I was devastated by his murder. I hope he and his wife Helen are together, RIP.
