I met Randy or (MOOSE) which was his nickname that he went by in 1978 while in college studying criminal law. He asked if I was planning to be a police officer and I told him that's what I would like to do. He took me under his wing and showed me allot of things both in life and police work. Each year at this time FEb. 5th which is my birthday I always remember Randy and how much he meant to me as a friend. I know he is in heaven today and each year at this time I stop to thank the Lord that he gave me a chance to meet someone of his caliber and one day I will see him again.
