This was my grandmother's brother, I grew up hearing this story until she passed away in 2011. Mind you she passed away on the same day he was shot in the theater. It is touching to see people pay homage and respect to him. He was a young a man with a young family and never deserved to die that way. My grandmother loved her brother dearly, time never healed her wounds. She would have been happy to see the respect and kind words put out there in his honor. So on her behalf I thank you all. To all of our fallen may you rest in peace, and thank you for your service. Gone but never forgotten.
