I am the granddaughter of Patrolman James Owens Jr. I am currently working on a family tree and attempting to piece together my family history. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to meet my grandfather, but I've heard from those that spoke at the Charleston Memorial Service that he was a good man and officer.
