To Whom It May Concern,

I respectfully ask that you DENY PAROLE to Ross Caudill, inmate #A141290. This inmate's murder of Patrolman William Brown of the Lima Police Department should preclude any consideration for parole.

On March January 5th, 1974, Patrolman Brown interrupted a robbery in progress at a gas station. When he asked inmate #A141290 to remove the covering from his face, inmate #A141290 produced a gun and shot Patrolman Brown four times. Patrolman Brown succumbed to his wounds shortly after. Inmate #A141290 was not apprehended until four days later.

Patrolman Brown was a dedicated officer who served with the Lima Police Department for 16 years. More importantly, he was a devoted husband and a father to two daughters and five sons.

Parole is a privilege, and the severity of his crime demands that he be made to spend every remaining day of his life in prison, the sentence that he agreed to with his plea deal. As a concerned citizen and in the interest of public safety, I again respectfully ask that you DENY PAROLE, to inmate #A141290.
