I understand that Timothy Patrick Chambers, inmate #187051, is eligible for a "Life Sentence Review" hearing.

I respectfully ask that you do not consider parole or early release of any kind for inmate #187051.

On May 3, 1996, inmate #187051 stole a vehicle and led law enforcement on a 35-mile pursuit with speeds reaching over 100 mph. Deputy Sheriff John Warren Liebenstein was blocking an interstate ramp so the car could not exit the interstate. Despite the 12-foot space available for inmate #187051 to steer around the squad car, he accelerated up the ramp and hit the passenger's side of the squad car directly between the front and rear wheels. Inmate #187051 intentionally rammed Deputy Sheriff Liebenstein's vehicle at a speed of over 90 miles per hour. Deputy Sheriff Lebenstein was killed instantly.

Deputy Sheriff John Liebenstein was only 40 years old. He was a dedicated deputy serving with the Rice County Sheriff's Department for nine years. He was a role model throughout the community. But, most importantly, he was a devoted husband and father to a son and two daughters.

As a concerned citizen, and in the interest of public safety, I again respectfully ask that you keep inmate #187051 behind bars for the entirety of his life sentence. Justice demands that he be made to spend every remaining day of his life in prison.
