Lord God of unfailing love, to those families of our beloved nation, the United States of America, who are suffering in the wake of the loss of a Law Enforcement K-9 family member in the Line-of-Duty, help us to provide support. Allow us to be their rock and fortress in a time of immense pain and uncertainty. Help us to keep them safe and nourished in their time of grief, suffering beside them as we move toward healing and reconciliation. Lord God, in Your compassionate mercy, hear our prayer. In Christ Jesus' mighty and holy Name, and by His Authority, we pray. Amen.

K9 Kai, All the hours of training does not produce a hero. It was not the training that made you irreplaceable, it was your full dedication and devotion to your partner and department that set you apart. Even your last steps and breath were done in excellence while you performed with your body in pain. Now you can rest in the arms of your Creator, who called you home to enjoy your eternal reward. You certainly are the Gold Standard of K9s.
May your partner, family and departments who worked with you cherish the memory of working and living with you. What an honor God gave to them to share a career with you!
