Reflections for K9 Kaya

K9 Kaya, Only the Lord knows what called you to change your direction. I cannot grasp the shock and anguish your partner is suffering. Surely it was your time to go to your forever home.
Your beauty, your energy, your unfailing determination - all set you apart as one of the best of the best. Serving for almost 9 years is absolutely incredible and attests to your drive and dedication. What a gift you were to Officer Hall, your department, family and community! Now, from above, keep track of your partner and speak comfort to his heart. Let him know that you are enjoying your fellow K9s and are at rest and peace now.
May God bless you, Officer Hall, and give you that same rest and peace in your heart.

Heavenly Father, You are always faithful and quick to show mercy. Our Comrade-in-Blue, K-9 Kaya, of the Streetsboro OH Police Department, was suddenly and violently taken from us; Struck & Killed by a Motor Vehicle in the Line-of-Duty. Come swiftly to his aid, have mercy on him, and comfort his family, friends, and colleagues by the power and protection of the cross. I ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, and by His authority, I pray. Amen.
