If our sadness is measured in the tears alone we shed for Hudson, the rivers would overflow! Our communities feel the heartache of the loss of our hero who died protecting us all! My condolences and tears flow for all of the Kane County Sheriff Department. Thank you for all you do.

As good as it is that a human officer’s life wasn’t taken away from their family by a thug, losing a K9 is not easy at all. The department lost a loyal family member, rest in peace Hudson. Have all the treats you want, buddy.

You are a true Hero. K9 Police Prayer: I will lay down my life for you and expect nothing but love in return. I will protect my officer with my life, and would gladly take a bullet in his place. I am sent in to find lost children and fugitives on the run.
