I know so many lives have changed for the better, because of beautiful Odin. I cannot imagine the loss Virginia State Police is experiencing. In multiple task forces over the years working with K-9 units and as a Malinois mom, I know they are more human than canine. God bless you all and give you comfort until the day we see each other again.

Lord God of unfailing love, to those families of our beloved nation, the United States of America, who are suffering in the wake of the loss of a Law Enforcement K-9 family member in the Line-of-Duty, help us to provide support. Allow us to be their rock and fortress in a time of immense pain and uncertainty. Help us to keep them safe and nourished in their time of grief, suffering beside them as we move toward healing and reconciliation. Lord God, in Your compassionate mercy, hear my prayer. Amen.

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” [Matthew 5:4 ESV]

Rest In Peace dear Odin. I am certain your handler and VSP are missing you so much...I encourage them to seek a strong support system and to honor your memory in any way they feel comfortable. Odin crossed The Rainbow Bridge with restored health and is playing with all those who went before. I pray that Odin’s handler is doing as well as he can under the sad circumstances...I know in my heart he loved Odin and that Odin loved him.

K9 Odin, Before time began, God knew you would be one of His stars! He finally decided that He didn't want to be separated from you anymore, so He arranged a freak accident to bring you home. Surely you are romping through the clouds now with your fellow comrades (and a few angels), in the purest air ever breathed!
Tell the Lord to breathe peace, comfort and rest into the soul of your partner - it WAS the appointed time for you to be called home!
