Reflections for K9 Drago

How sad that such an amazing K9, Drago, has lost his life protecting those he loved. K9 Drago you have earned your golden halo to go along with a golden collar and golden leash as you are now in Heaven. Such a Hero you are. You will be dearly missed. Let Justice prevail. Oh, I almost forgot, you also now have your golden wings, too. Rest in peace as we'll see you again some day.

K9 Drago, your life and the lives of your fellow officers taken in the split of a second, for what? 4 legs or 2, a hero is a hero when his life is taken in the pursuit of evil. My heart breaks for so much tremendous loss. But the perp did not win - he will get his due. God chose to take you and your team home. No words can express how we, as supporters of your sacrifices, hurt for the families and Departments.
I pray God pours out His support in EVERY way for those left behind. He holds His heroes dearest to His heart - they have a place of glory in the heavens.

Officer Drago you have the ultimate sacrifice for your service to your handler, LEOs on the scene and the citizens you protected. In my mind, as I served 20 years with various K-9s in the State Police, you are no different than the men and women who have sacrificed their lives. The individual who killed you should be charged with your murder as well. Some day a legislator will understand that and make some changes. God Bless you!

Drago, my bad at not having left a reflection sooner. You served the people of your community with dedication and spirit and were no doubt as much a friend to all as a protector.

The Rainbow Bridge is a little safer now. RIP.

He died as a hero doing his duty, without a doubt dogs are fairer than some policemen, I hope they give the guilty the sentence he deserves
