Reflections for K9 Duke

Rest in Peace, good and faithful servant.
God has already reserved a final resting place for our peacemakers.
Please continue your careful and diligent watch over us.
When Law Enforcement perishes, a proud and caring nation mourns.
Thank you for your heroic sacrifice!
Thank you for your selfless service!
Thank you for your guardian protection!

Our prayers to the family and department.

K-9 Duke, you literally gave your life in assisting your team to combat evil. You never gave up, until you had to be stopped when your body began to give up. What a wonderful, determined and loyal officer! May you be enjoying your rest now in Heaven with your like-minded K-9 officers!
May God give rest and peace to your partner.

The First & The Last

The first to sense the hostility of a suspect,
The first to react to protect his master,
The first to enter where danger lurks,
The first to detect the hidden intruder.
The first to take action against violence.
The first to sense his master’s joy.
The first to know his master’s sorrow or fear.
The first to give his life in defense of his master.
The last to be forgotten by those who work with others like him.
They know him as a “Partner”, not just an animal.
