Reflections for K9 Rex

My friend and I were at the scene last night. He helped the officer take the bodies out of the car. You have no idea how my heart broke when I saw that puppy Rex get pulled from the car and laid on the ground. My girl Lucy and I send all of our love to his handler and everybody else who was affected by this accident.

Agent Rex and family, as a mother of a fallen officer who was a K9 handler, the grief is no different for our 4 legged partners. Agent Rex is family! Our hearts bleed for our 4 legged partners just as our 4 legged partners morns their 2 legged human partners. Rex undoubtedly stood his post just as he was supposed to. I pray the charges will be just as harsh against the driver, as if Rex was a human. Rex, please rest easy. It’s your turn to run with the other puppies and K9 handlers in heaven. Rex!!! Thank you for your service. Rex’s family…both blue and extended…thank you for your service. We will forever stand behind you!!!
