It doesn’t get much worse than this. Hopefully the criminal is put away for life. This totally break my heart. I can’t imagine being her partner and trying desperately to save her. I’ve said enough. Again hopefully the criminal that caused this horrific situation is put away, for good. My heart goes out to all involved, especially her handler, partner, best friend. So sorry. RIP Cas. Deputy Archbold and all of the Whitley County Sheriff's Office:
Thank you for allowing the citizens of Whitley Country, all of Indiana, and the world to rest a little easier at night knowing that you, Cas, and your fellow brothers and their K9's are protecting us.
May St. Francis of Assisi have sent Cas' guardian dog to her. I cannot imagine the grief that you are living with.
I never had the humble joy of meeting Cas as a civilian but know that our K9 officers are such an amazing part of keeping us safe.
May God grant you peace as you allow us to share your loss and as you say good-bye.
