Reflections for K9 Eli

Greetings, My name is Michelle Rosenthal and I just read about the impressive 9 years of service Eli gave to the Gwinnett County Police Department. I was searching for K9s of distinction to name the K9s in my children's book about a K9 named Sparkie and his police officer handler named John. I have several K9s to name in the book. I will discuss all the K9s in the unit. Eli is the first K9 that I will honor and tell his story in my book to say why we picked this name to memorialize him as one of our Belgium Malinois tracking K9 police officer characters.

Eli was as good as they come. "He may have been small, but he didn't know it" He served this county and department well. We will forever miss him. Rest easy Eli. Tell Cody I miss him too.
