Heavenly Father, the Gwinnett County, Georgia Police Department was fortunate to receive the gift of K9 Eli from You. Let us celebrate his accomplishments and remember his selfless sacrifice in the Line-of-Duty. Now that K9 Eli has left this life, please help the members of the Gwinnett County Police Department cope with his loss with strength and courage. May K9 Eli always be remembered as a trusted colleague who completed his missions with true dedication. Lord God, by Your Word, death is not the end; it does not have the final say! For Scripture promises that all flesh shall see the salvation of God! All dogs do go to heaven, because they have a spirit that epitomizes Your unconditional love. First let me say to the handler I am truly sorry. Its like losing part of yourself. That pain will always be there but the joy you had as a K-9 team will always be there to. I pray to God that he welcomes K-9 ELI with open arms. Truly he will accept this angel home. K-9 ELI thank you for your service. I know you are in the best of company.
