Reflections for K9 Kastor

It goes beyond my mind, how they just shot the dog instead of at least tasing him or poking his eyes... poor K-9 may rest in peace.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Waco, Texas Police Department and the family, friends, and colleagues of K-9 Kastor, who was shot and killed in the Line-of-Duty on Friday, October 5, 2018. Let us celebrate his accomplishments and remember his selfless sacrifice in the Line-of-Duty. Now that K9 Kastor has left this life, please help the members of the Waco Police Department cope with his loss with strength and courage. May K9 Kastor always be remembered as a trusted colleague who completed his missions with true dedication and the unconditional love he provided his caregivers. Heavenly Father, by Your Word, death is not the end; it does not have the final say! For Scripture promises that all flesh shall see the salvation of God! All dogs do go to heaven, because they have a spirit that epitomizes God’s unconditional love. After all, DOG spelt backwards is GOD! Well done, good and faithful servant!

I'm so very sorry for my son who is devastated. They were a great team. Kastor was loved and cared for. He was trained by the best as was my son, the handler. RIP Kastor, run free. I wish peace of mind to my son and the other officer involved...you did what you had to do Mike.

K-9 Kastor, May you enjoy peace now and fellowship with your K-9 peers as you romp across the Rainbow Bridge. We pray that God will comfort your partner and fellow officers, especially in light of the trauma they have endured in having to make the agonizing and horrific decision to release you to eternal life. May God bless them with confidence and faith in knowing that their excellent handling of split second decisions is sound and correct. May God assure them that all is well with them and you.

A HEAVENLY HOME…

Are these magnificent creatures now with the Lord Himself in the Heavenly Realm? Pastor and Author Randy Alcorn at EPM.org certainly feels this is factual, and even devoted 2 chapters of his best selling “Heaven” book to establish his case. Many of his inspiring articles are at: https://www.epm.org/search/?q=Animals+in+Heaven. We can also get a glimpse of the Glorious Reunions awaiting their devoted Handlers, Trainers and Owners at ImagineHeaven.net May the Good Lord comfort these intelligent and brave animals and their human family and caring departments accordingly…

A Prayer for K9 Kastor:

Thank you for your law enforcement service to the citizens of Waco, Texas and to the Waco Police Department. Let us celebrate your accomplishments and remember your selfless sacrifice in the Line-of-Duty. In Luke 3:6 Jesus promised, “And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.” So, death is not the end; it does not have the final say! All dogs do go to heaven because you have a spirit that epitomizes God's unconditional love. After all, DOG is GOD spelt backwards! Now, my furry, four-legged Comrade-in-Blue, rest easy, we will take it from here.

"Well done, good and faithful servant" [Matthew 25:11 ESV]

Almighty God, the Waco Police Department was fortunate to receive the gift of K9 Kastor from You. Now that he has left this life, please help them cope with their loss with strength and courage. I know that their beloved companion no longer suffers, and will live on in many fond memories. May the Lord God bless you always. In Jesus’ holy and mighty name, I pray. Amen.
