Reflections for K9 Eico

Eico,

You and I have never met but my late fiancé Dennis was the first deputy killed in the line of duty in Davis County. I remember Dennis telling me if Davis County ever had a K9 he would love to work along side them. Unfortunately, he was killed before that could happen. I like to think that you two have met and you are now both patrolling the streets of Heaven and looking out for all of us down here. Please give my Dennis a kiss for me.

Thank you for all of your efforts to make Davis County safer.

Jocelyne :)

Eico,
You are still on our hearts. In fact, I still catch myself trying to use your "commands" on the new officer that took over for you.

I am positive you are in heaven having a wonderful time!

A HEAVENLY HOME…

Are these magnificent creatures now with the Lord Himself in the Heavenly Realm? Pastor and Author Randy Alcorn at EPM.prg certainly feels this is factual, and even devoted 2 chapters of his best selling “Heaven” book to establish his case. Many of his inspiring articles are at: https://www.epm.org/search/?q=Animals+in+Heaven. We can also get a glimpse of the Glorious Reunions awaiting their devoted Handlers, Trainers and Owners at ImagineHeaven.net. May the Good Lord comfort these intelligent and brave animals along with their human family and caring department accordingly…

Great sadness fills our hearts today as in pipes and drums in slow March play. A comrade's fallen by the way and now we say goodbye.

I can't imagine the pain felt by his partner. I have lost two of my partners, one to heart issue, other of old age. I truly understand, but can't imagine the hurt.

While all of us do the same job, some of us have four legs instead of two.

Each are brothers.

Eico, at the gates of heaven, you will be met by others who left before you to welcome you. And as you take your post there , know those here will take your watch and serve with courage and valor.

Until we all meet there., We have it from here...

May I offer my sincere condolences over the loss of your partner, companion, and friend, Eico. You were Blessed to have the opportunity to be partnered with one of the most dedicated, loyal and loving breeds in law enforcement and as a family member. He definitely would have laid down his life for you should you have been faced with such a situation. His passing was the result of an unfortunate accident, the fault of no one. No doubt he gave you hours of enjoyment and happy memories to hold within your heart forever. In return, you gave him the love and encouragement he needed to shine in his dual roles. God Bless Eico, and watch over him on his journey across the Rainbow Bridge. When the time comes, he'll be waiting to welcome you and other loved ones on the other side of the Bridge. RIP Eico, and thank you for your service.
