K9 Amigo reminds me of my son's dog a Belgian Malinois. I love that dog. I can't image how the officer feels about losing his best friend and partner. I know that Amigo is playing with the children in heaven until the day that he meets up with his partner.

Amigo was a great police dog. He did his job very well. He is missed by all who knew and enjoyed working with him. He left us all too soon due to heat exaustion from hlelping to find two missing hikers who were found just after he died. We will miss you. You were a brave dog and I am sure you will be missed.

As a citizen who admires and respects the work of the Blue, I send deep condolences to the Kingman, AZ Police Department on the loss of this amazing officer. He clearly wasn't just a dog; he was the extended hand of the handler and the department. So sad to read of his passing. May God place his hands on all the officers who serve well, and may Amigo now run free, guiding from above.
