I hope the Chief has recovered, though the emotional scars of losing a partner and a friend will take time if they ever fully heal at all.

Rest in Peace, Roscoe.

K9 Roscoe:

Thank you for your law enforcement service to the citizens of Emmett, Idaho and to the Emmett Police Department. Let us celebrate your accomplishments and remember your selfless sacrifice in the Line-of-Duty. However, death is not the end; it does not have the final say! Now, my furry Comrade-in-Blue, rest easy, we will take it from here! May the Lord God bless you, your family, your friends, and your colleagues always. FURRY BLUE LIVES MATTER!!!

"Well done, good and faithful servant!" [Matthew 25:21 ESV]

Let us Pray: Almighty God, the Emmett, Idaho Police Department was fortunate to receive the gift of Roscoe from You. Now that he has left this life, please help them cope with his loss with strength and courage. We know that this beloved canine hero no longer suffers, and will live on in the fond memories of his loyal and dedicated law enforcement service for which he was trained. We pray that his accomplishments and unconditional love have enriched the lives of others and that he will forever be remembered by all those who loved and cared for him. Amen
