Dont grieve for me I served you well.
I loved you more than you could ever tell.
I am now an angel in blue.
I laid my life on the line for you.
I wore my badge with honor every day,
to keep citizens safe and out of harms way.
so when you see a badge worn with pride,
remember their comrads and friends that have died.

A Prayer for K9 Betcha:

Thank you for your law enforcement service to the citizens of Rutland County,Vermont and to the Rutland County Sheriff's Department. Let us celebrate your accomplishments and remember your selfless sacrifice in the Line-of-Duty. However, death is not the end; it does not have the final say! All dogs do go to heaven because you possess a spirit that epitomizes God's unconditional love.

And He [Jesus] said to him, "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise" [Luke 23:43].

Now, my four-legged furry Comrade-in-Blue, rest easy, we will take it from here.

"Well done, good and faithful servant" [Matthew 25:11]. May the Lord God bless you always. Amen

Accidents do happen and it wasn't that you didn't love your K/9 I'm sure that K/9 Betcha didn't realize his mistake until it was to late. God has a better purpose for K/9 Betcha and I'm sure that your puppy will be waiting for you some day near the Rainbow Bridge in Heaven. God Bless K/9 Betcha and his handler.
