Reflections for K9 Jethro

K9 Jethro:

Thank you for your law enforcement service to the citizens of Canton, Ohio and to the Canton Police Department. Let us celebrate your accomplishments and remember your selfless sacrifice in the Line-of-Duty. However, death is not the end; it does not have the final say! All dogs do go to heaven because you have a spirit that epitomizes God's unconditional love. And He [Jesus] said to him, "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise" [Luke 23:43]. Now, my four-legged furry Comrade in Blue, rest easy, we will take it from here. "Well done, good and faithful servant" [Matthew 25:11]. May the Lord God bless you always. Amen

Honor Me!
Do not mourn for me
For I have known the love of another
Do not mourn for me
For I have known the touch of a child’s gentle touch
Do not mourn for me
For I have known joy
Instead celebrate my life, love joy and happiness
By that you honor me.--SherryJo Crandall

My husband and I were following K-9 Jethro's updates. I was saddened to discover that he passed away. We lost our "brown boy", Max (10 yr. old Chocolate Lab) to stomach cancer (11/14/14). Though completely different circumstances, I know the pain that Jethro's handler/"Daddy" is feeling. I believe that our boy, Max, was there to welcome Jethro to heaven. Both are free of pain; are forever watching over us. Heaven has gained a new HERO, in Jethro. To all who loved him, I am so very sorry for your loss.

Rest in Peace K9 Officer and Hero "Jethro". You will forever remain in the hearts of us all. Condolences to the Canton Police Department and to Jethro's Partner and Handler Officer Davis.
Police K9's are very much loved and appreciated by the Officers and Departments that they work with. They are an invaluable addition to a Police Department and to a Community. This is a great loss to so many people. Jethro fought to the very end and did not deserve this death. Knowing my Brothers and Sisters, everywhere, they will continue to serve and to protect and each will carry Jethro with them as they do so.

I know that God has now carried you home across that Rainbow Bridge. It says in the Bible we will be known as we are known. You K-9 Jethro will be known as a loyal friend and warrior that saved lives. You made it a better place to live. You pursued the wicked doing a job most are so scared to do. That is Saintly. My prayers for your partner. Run , play and wait at that gate. I know you are in great company. My respect K-9 Jethro.

Thank you for your service Officer Jethro. You are indeed a hero for risking your life to save those who serve by your side. Rest in peace and as you cross the rainbow bridge those who have gone before you will be waiting to welcome you!
To the Canton Police Department and the Judicial system, put this person away for the rest of his life! He took an Officers life and should be prosecuted for murder!
