May you rest in peace and may your owner find comfort in knowing you laid down your life for him and for the other officers at the scene. You definitely did not die in vain. RIP Hero.

Jethro while I didn't get to have the pleasure of ever knowing you in person, thank you for being such a brave K-9 officer. Thank you for your service and you'll be remembered for all you have done and acheived. Rest in peace your watch is over.

Dear K9 Hero Jethro, Thank you for your brave service. You did exactly what you were trained to do, however, getting shot 3 times was not part of the training script. You will be forever remembered by your human family and the Police Dept. you served. The Rainbow Bridge welcomes you and here you will be made whole again and romp and chase after the bones and toys that you will be showered with. St. Francis will greet you and Jesus will heal your scars.

There is no greater bond than that of a K9 and his handler. Jethro, you sacrificed your life to save your human and for that we are eternally grateful. Rest easy now beautiful boy, enjoy your celestial bone until the day your handler picks you up at the gates of Heaven...I know that's where you'll be waiting.

As a German Sheppard owner and dog lover my heart goes out to each and everyone of your lives that Officer Jethro has touched. One cannot, at this time, adequately say anything that will make a real difference in the way we all feel except that a loss to you is a loss to all. RIP friend of man, your service has not gone unnoticed.
