Tanja, you were such a wonderful dog and you will be missed by everyone who knew you. I am sure your killer will get what he deserves when he goes to trial for the crimes he commited. You were a brave dog and you are going to be missed by everybody. I know you will be up there joining all the other law enforcement dogs who lost their lives going after criminals.

My Good Sheriff Wilson,

I wish to extend my most sincere condolences for the loss of K-9 Officer Tanja and wish an expedient, painless recovery for your Deputy. It is my belief K-9's "take-on" and reflect the personalities of their handlers. "THAT" is the message I wish you convey to your Troops and the injured Deputy. THEY were fearless ... THEY were Courageous ... & THEY did the Right thing for one reason, AND ONE REASON ONLY .... Because it was the RIGHT THING to do regardless of cost.

She "DID" what few, if any civilian could even imagine ... She put herself in "Harms-Way" to save her Partner's Life. It wasn't for pay .... It wasn't for Glory .... It was only because Right is Right, Wrong is Wrong- & "NOTHING" will EVER change that.

Her passing (regrettable as it is), is a Testament to her Handlers commitment, your Departments Mission and the unspoken gratitude of the citizenry you have sworn to protect.

May your grief be short-lived, your integrity never questioned, and your memories of K-9 Tanja always recalled with the same gratitude held by the Family of her surviving Deputy-Partner.

Nobody said it would be easy.
They just didn't say how tough it would be.

God Bless. Stay Safe. THANKS.
