For sure animals have a place in Heaven with a special section reserved for Hero dogs. God would never separate these two. Pontiac IL Officer Casey Kohlmeier and K-9 Draco. Both killed (LODD) by a drunk driver End of Watch 10.30.13 Two American Heroes and Officer Casey was one even before he went to the PD from his military service. We thank them both for their service and pray for their souls. May they rest together in peace with all of Heaven's rewards. And may Justice, like Gravity, always be a universal truth, prevail and win by holding those accountable within the law for taking these two Michigan and American Heroes from us. The killing of these two partners was a razor to the throat of all American society. The 'way way too soon" was the rust on the razor. They can never never be forgotten.

Officer Draco, to many, you're a dog. To a dog person, you're a family member and friend who give unquestioned love. I've never been a K9 Officer, but I can guess that to your partner, and all those K9 Officers out there, you're all that AND a partner, protector and comrade. No dog can ever truly be thanked for what they give to us. Rest in Peace, Brother.
