We are so sad for your loss, and hope a new police dog
comes soon.....and will be as great as Kali . We will
never forget him tho, and we are especially blessed no
one was injured at the Verizon store in Peru. The
officer did his best and rushed to the scene to protect
the employees and customers from harm or a certain
tragedy....I recall the beautiful poem Rainbow
Bridge whick I will send soon to the police dept.
Take care all of your fine police officers... We frequent
the Mall and Walmart a lot, and I am so glad a
blue cross is there now in honor of Kali.....I know he
watches from Heaven, but now is resting in God's
hands....How blessed he was to be w/ yous for 2
yrs. in police service....we know how much yous will
miss him....

A partner is a partner. It doesn't matter if they have have 2 legs or 4. The loss is the same. I have never been a K-9 handler and have always been jealous of those who were as I think that might be the best job in law enforcement. My condolences to his handler, his handlers family and department as all three will be mourning the loss of a true hero. God bless./
