I am truly sorry for your loss. It is so hard to see them killed in action but know he was doing the job he loved. Your watch is complete now Koda......RIP and enjoy your time at the Bridge until your handler shows up. You two can then cross the Bridge together.

You have served your partner well my friend. Your loyalty and bravery has been unmatched. Now go and run the green fields of heaven. You have earned the rest. You will not be forgotten. Instead, you will now find your place in the rich history of United States law enforcement. Thank you for your service.

Having lost a K9 partner many years ago, I understand the loss felt by Koda´s partner and the entire law enforcement community. What gave me strength was reading and rereading RAINBOW BRIDGE, knowing we would be together again someday. Let us each hug the ones we love a little closer tonight and cherish each moment we have together.

As a dog handler myself, I know that there is no greater partner that is more willing to lay down their lives to protect us. They train hard and work harder. They bring us laughs, they bring us frustration at times, but most of all they bring us safety. Enjoy your run over the rainbow bridge Koda and RIP. Thoughts and prayers to the handler and his family. I know how bad it hurts to lose your faithful partner.

I am so sorry for your loss. Having worked for a police dept. for 31 years, I formed a big bond with the K-9s as I am an animal lover. But K-9s are so much more than animals. They are a part of a police family and a family. There needs to be more severe charges for killing a K-9. God is playing with Koda right now and loving him. My sincere condolences to all.

Sheriff LARRY CAMPBELL- very sorry for the loss of KODA. Whe a friend leaves, he leaves an empty space that the arrival of another friend cannot fill.
Maybe some day another doggie will be so lucky as KODA to share his life with you and your family.
Our prayers are near of God and our hearts are near of you.

A GSD is the best partner a man can ever have, Koda knew what he was doing, and did ir without hesitation, putting the safety of his handler and partner above his own. Loyalty like that is hard to find anywhere else.
