It is always so sad to learn of a K-9 officer's untimely death. You and your family will be in my prayers, Colonel Daniel Fuhr. I hope you can find comfort in knowing that Tank did not have to grow old and suffer, and that you gave him a good life.

God be with you and your family. Tank will always have your back even if you can't see him. Keep up the fight, it takes a special person to be a K-9 Officer.

I'm sorry that you lost Tank. I am a Veteran with a PTSD-K-9. If anyone one can help me find out what is done with a Police K-9 once they retire. I know all officers can not keep the K-9's once they are Retired. There are so many Vets out here that would take in a K-9. It would help the Veteran and the K-9 have a better life. I'm Retired and still have a lot of good still in me, and think I can help. Any Veteran would have to go threw a Strick back round check with law-enforcement and the V.A. This is just an idea I have and looking for any ideas.

Trooper Neff and Tank. Because of your combined efforts and service to the community - numerous quantities of drugs have been taken off the street, criminals have been taken into custody and the mission of the UHP has been successfully addressed. Thank you for your heroic services. Tank will be missed but not forgotten.

Tank and his partner Corporal Chamberlin Neff were a dedicated team that served the community of Utah together. K-9 Tank will be missed by us all. We grieve his loss and our thoughts and prayers are with Chamberlin and his family. Police service dogs become part of the family. Tank will not only be missed by Chamberlin's family but Tank will be remembered as part of the UHP/DPS family.
