"Dogs give their human companions unconditional love and are always there with an encouraging wag of the tail when they are needed. The dog is indeed a very special animal."

Dear, sweet girl...You served your masters well and asked nothing in return. You now patrol the celestial streets, where you need not pursue the wicked, but gladly receive the overflow of heavenly affections. Your toys are clean, your water ever cool, your bowl perpetually full.... Others are blessed to have petted your head. I am so sorry your affections were not returned in full measure.

Words cannot express the sorrow and pain I feel for the loss of K9 Sasha. She served her owner and protected us all while asking for nothing more then our love. My heart aches for you and how you must have suffered for no reason. God loves all his children. I suffer with that when it comes to Sasha's handler. I prey Sasha is now at peace, comfortable and with out pain. I will never forget you, you are a cherished member of theblaw enforcement family. . .

Sasha died because of being left by handler in car for 3 days, is this correct. I couldn't believe it. I can't judge without knowing circumstances but the handler must feel terrible now. The best way to honor Sasha now is to be more diligent in the care of our animal friends who help serve and protect. Like Mark Twain said"if there are no dogs in heaven, I wanna go where they go"! I pray the handler pays an honorable penance and finds peace and forgiveness and Sasha, a martyred hero earns more attention, respect & care for her fellow K-9 after her! so she doesn't die in vain.
