Sony
K9 Sony was struck and killed by a vehicle after escaping from his handler's patrol car through an open window.
His handler had responded to a call and was speaking with a resident when K9 Sony exited the open kennel in the car and then jumped through the open window. He was struck by a passing motorist.
K9 Sony had served with the Crisfield Police Department for only one week and was trained in narcotics detection and tracking.
