Kilo
K9 Kilo was shot and killed during a shootout with an armed man in Pendleton.
The subject had been involved in an argument with his wife when he obtained a semi-automatic rifle and opened fire on other residents in the neighborhood. Responding units engaged the man in a shootout in which two officers were wounded. K9 Kilo was also shot and killed during the shootout.
The subject was found dead a short time later suffering a gunshot wound.
