Baloo
K9 Baloo died from injuries sustained when he fell 40-feet from a roof while searching for two copper thieves in the area of University Drive and Mill Avenue.
He was immediately transported to a local veterinary hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. He passed away from the injuries early the next morning.
K9 Baloo had served with the Tempe Police Department for years and was certified in patrol and narcotics detection.
