On today, the 80th anniversary of your death, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Pima County. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I am a family member of an officer who also has his name on the same memorial in Tucson, Az. that you do. Chance would have it that I met your daughter, Betty, today. I wanted to let you know that your daughter is such a kind and wonderful person. She is someone who spreads beauty to the world. It was an honor to meet her. You left your mark on the world in such a inspirational way, in true form of a law enforcement officer. Thank you.
