I just wanted to let your family and friends know that there are many out there who know the pain that you feel today. My brother Roger was killed 4 years ago today June 2nd. You are in the thoughts and prayers of many folks who care. I pray that God will bless you with many precious happy memories to help fill your heart "especially today". Judy Coleman I am honored & proud today! My son gave me this website a year or so ago, and i keep it near my computer. It's hard sometimes to "go" down those avenues of the unfinished, so it took a long time. I read all the wonderful words of compassion & encouragement, and was made happy. Thanks dad, for setting an example for me and my children. Thanks for being the person you were, and in your absence encouraging me to push forward, & move on. I will always love who you were. You were a "Father" & a "Husband". You were a "Chrisian", and a soldier in the army. You died a "Hero", and a left your name marked in the books of history. Your good deeds will forever live with your family, neighborhood, community, & your country. The "Officer Down" memorial page has made it possibel for others to share their sympathy & compassion for you and our family. Thanks Friends! God bless & protect all the officers. Keep them safe and keep their family at peace and free from worry. Tresslar Moore Lewis RIP Anonymous Oneal was a true gentleman. I investigated a civil rights Special Agent Alan J. Ouimet i am writing this reflection becaused i might be some related to officer moore.i found out abouth him through a fellow guardman.who went to school in new orleans with his dauther.i live in tangipaoha parish. sgt.michael a moore On behalf of the Moore family, I would like to give thanks to all of the prayers that were and still are being sent out for us and my grandfather. I ran upon this site so randomly but I'm glad i did. Just to know that people we dont even know are still looking out for us is the greatest feeling! Grandson Duncan Tre'Vaughn Moore Yesterday, I was talking with a couple of young men who were raised in the town where you were killed. They're students of mine now and in the course of the conversation, they mentioned you and your partner and the incident that cost you your life. Even though I'm new to Louisiana and these young men were born long after you were already gone, they still call your name. You are not forgotten. Rebecca Hensley You were gone before I was born, but I've cryed with your family at your memorial services. I've met your partner, Creed Rogers, who was seriously injured in your attack. I've worn the same uniform as you. I think of you often and I am angry and ashamed of the cowards who perpetrated this incident. I pray that justice will be served on your behalf, someday, and your family can enjoy some sense of satisfaction. B Sharp Rest, brother. Cpl Steve Headley Rest easy brother, the example you set will live forever. Capt. Bill McClain (ret.) You are a true hero and will forever be remebered!
I honor you for your service in our country's most turbulant of times. You will forever remain a hero in the minds and the hearts of people everywhere. Thank you Deputy Sheriff O'Neal Moore.
A POLICEMAN'S PRAYER Detective John Halligan You were and are a Hero, your valor in those troubled times was exceeded only by your desire to help others and make a difference. Retired Police Officer The only color I see Brother, is the color of our uniform. God Bless and rest in peace. brian burton ptl. officer
