On today, the 45th anniversary of your death, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Houston. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I just came across the story of your death and I was disappointed to see that your fellow officers had left no relections. No officer who dies in the line of duty should be without reflections to his memory. Well, Sgt. McDaniel, you are NOT forgotten. You did make a difference. Rest in peace sir. Captain Tobert W.
