Trooper Mayer, today marks 52 years that you were taken from us. You will never be forgotten for your sacrifice sir. Cpl/1 Steven Rizzo Delaware State Police 2007-08-08
Tpr Mayer, For the past five years I have seen your picture just about everyday. Whether it was in the academy or at Troop 3. Reading about your death on this website hits home, especially since you were killed on a roadway that I work everyday. Rest in peace knowing that you, and that rest of our fallen brothers and sisters in the Delaware State Police shall never be forgotten. Especially today, as we approach the 52nd anniversary of your death. Corporal Surowiec Delaware State Police 2007-08-01
While browsing the ODMP I came across a brother Trooper's picture. You will never be forgotten by your brothers and sisters of the Delaware State Police. Cpl/1 Steven Rizzo Delaware State Police 2006-09-14
Tpr. Mayer's service and dedication are greatly appreciated, and will never be forgotten. This great agency continually remembers and honors its fallen heroes. Sgt. Tom Carver Delaware State Police 2005-05-13
Thank you Trooper Mayer, for your service and dedication. It saddens me to think that not only have you been forgotten by your department but also by the community in which you served. Please know that your ultimate sacrifice is the final measure of your devotion to duty...... Officer Terry Northern Arizona 2004-08-19
