Your heroism and service is honored today, the 89th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer. Phyllis Loya We are the LAPD ! We do not leave any Men or Women behind, and we do not forget any LAPD Brother or Sister, who may have fallen in the line – of – duty. Maj M. B. Parlor I know very little about my great grandfather, but he influenced me in my life and career. My grandmother told me he died while operating a LAPD police ambulance. He was only on the job for about a year. He left behind four children and a wife who died shortly thereafter. He was the first of many police officers in our family and someone who inspired me on that path. I am the last of the bloodline to continue the tradition. Lieutenant Michael Oreb As I try to temper my anger regarding DNA confirming today the body of a constable from my home in South Carolina was murdered, I pause to remember a fellow LAPD officer. May You Rest - In - Peace. Maj M. B. Parlor Gone but not forgotton. God bless. Police Officer L. Garcia Let no fallen brother be forgotten. Rest easy. Lieutenant
