Trooper Looney,
I was just a 3 year old boy when you lost your life. But I was a citizen of the State of Georgia which you served. To me, that means you not only gave your life while protecting the citizens of the State of Georgia, you gave your life protecting me. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you sir.

Trooper "Foots Looney" was in a chase with a vehicle in Northwest Georgia when he lost control of his patrol car fatally wounding him. Trooper Looney had the nick name "Foots" because he wore about a 15 shoe size.
You will not be forgotten....

Pfc. Eric S. Black
Cartersville Police Department
