I am the neice and God child of "my uncle Bobby". He was my father's brother. Although he was murdered when I was only 4 years old, I remember him well. Although you had only about 1 year service with the Department your service was up to that of a experienced officer. You apparently interupted some criminal activity as you walked your beat. You recorded the name, description of the car and license plate number of which later proved to be your killer.David Cooper b/m43 after shooting you sped away in the car with his nephew William Cooper b/m29. With your information in hand officers found the car several hours later and saw your killer run from the car, which contained the body of the young nwphew shot in the head. You killer was apprehended after a struggle and died in the hospital from self inflicted gun shot wound.
You had been just a few months earlier a pallbearer for another Baltimore Officer killed on duty. Off Walter P. Matthy who was your classmate in the Police academy, graduating in June 1964.
YOUR SERVICE HONORED THE THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF BALTIMORE CITY.
As you and your partner walk your post in Heaven, you will never see the evil as it is here on earth.
