Officer Kuba, Senior Officer J. Anthony Sandoval The 40th anniversary of your passing was last week and your family remembered. We remember every year. I just wish we would be celebrating your birthday instead of your passing. Jason Dooley Coincidentally, you were the first one to be portrayed after I had just left one of your brother officers from your department a reflection who was just taken from us yesterday, 09-21-2006, in the same tragic way as you. As I said to him,you are a hero and a hero never dies. Thirty nine years later and you will always be remembered. Cpl/1 Steven Rizzo My dear sweet brother, today is your 39th anniversary of your death. You are missed every day. We talk about you all the time and I have told my son and daughter about the special person you were. My precious husband is now with you and Dad in heaven and you now know the great man I married. The Lord said to keep the faith and that is the way we all carry on until we see you all again. I Love You and miss you. Loving memories and God's Blessings. Helen Dooley I was born on July 3, 1974 and never knew my uncle, but I will never forget him. My mother (Louis Kuba's sister), has made sure that I knew at least a little of the man he was. And yes, you guessed it, my middle name is in honor of him. But it does no end there. I have recently had a son, James Louis Dooley. James, in honor of my recently deceased father, and Louis, in honor of the uncle I have never known. Jason Louis Dooley Officer Kuba, rest in peace. We will never forget you.
Officer Kuba,
On the anniversary of your death, I salute you for your service and honor you for your sacrifice.
