 | Police Officer James L. Joyce Baltimore City Police Department Maryland Monday, April 4, 1949 |
I never knew my uncle Jim since he died a year before I was born; however, I feel like I knew him from all the family stories. I love him just the same. I have this exact picture of him hanging in my house. His younger brother by two years (my grandfather) was also a Baltimore City police officer and died three months after my uncle from a heart attack, but it was not work related. He loved his brother very much which probably did not help his condition. His name was Thomas P. Joyce. I love you both. Patricia Lundquist Coogan He was my great uncle 2009-03-30
