You and my Dad were my inspirations to be the police! I'll always remember that faithful Saturday. One day I'll meet you in Heaven and share our stories. Remember the snot nosed kid you gave rides to in your police car by the snowball shop. Rest In Peace Brave Officer.

Sgt. Gus Bethea, Sr.

Tommy, I was in the Police academy when this happened. I was en route to a movie with my wife when you passed me in the chase. When I reached the scene where this happened the suspect was fleeing the scene. I have always prayed that I would have been a few seconds quicker, maybe I could have done more for you. Save me a place next to you when it is my turn to be called by the almighty. I would be honored to be seated next to you when I arrive up there.
